My son has FINALLY taken off reading. He can't put his current book down. I love this. I have struggled for 2 years getting him to read. We were having a discussion about how proud I am that he is reading the darn tv is off. I continued to say how much I dislike Sponge Bob and the language used (stupid, etc.) . I said there is nothing educational about Sponge Bob. One of my daughters was listening intently to the converstation and said, "oh, so you only want us to watch educational shows on TV?" I replied, "Yes." She than inquired, "so Dancing with the Stars is educational?" Hmmm, I thought okay you little stinker you got me, but instead said, "oh yes, it teaches us how to dance." She replied, "that's right!"
Got to love the silly things kids come up with.
